If you are thinking about using Foxtons DON'T. You will be so sorry. We went
with them and the nightmare started from the beginning. You first get a
Agent that comes to your home and everything looks good. If you have any
questions
the agent will call you right back. Once you sign the contract that is it.
You are now at the mercy of the Foxtons employee's. We had so many problems
that I will just list them.

1. The people that work there are MORON'S. They hire unqualified people that
know nothing about anything.
2. Getting a call back is next to impossible. Get used to leaving 4 to 5
messages to speak to someone.
3. If you need to close in hurry. Forget it!!. Your looking at close to 3
months best after a buyer signs a contract.
4. We had at least 3 potential buyers say they were so annoyed at trying to
work with Foxton's. These are people that wanted to buy our house and were
having trouble talking with people.
5. They are supposed to make color handouts for your open house. Well we got
those to weeks AFTER our open house.
6. Also do not use their Financial Group for a loan. They are also a bunch
of moron's and use this really awful title company.
7. As I'm writing this I am still trying to close on my house.

The list goes on & on. So many problems I can't even remember half of them.

BEWARE,The 2% is not worth it and you can go to most realtors and get
close to that with an exclusive. If you don't believe me simply find a home
with a Foxtons sign, knock on the door and ask them. Rest assured they too
will have a horror story to tell you. I am going to do everything in my
power to spread the word of this awful company. Warn your friends, Warn your
community, Warn everybody.

It's so bad someone created a dedicated site just to post everyone's bad
experience.

Don't go through what I did. It's not worth it.

It's "morons" as in more than one moron, not something that belongs to
one moron, which is what the apostrophe before the "s" signifies.

If ever I leave Massachusetts and run into this company, I'll heed
your advice.

Doesn't Foxton charge a lower commission? Isn't Foxton in bankruptcy?
If you want the lower commission, all you are paying for is a multiple
listing.

Then, if you have got a buyer, do it the old fashioned way. Hire a lawyer
to draw up
a contract and do the closing. Tell the buyers to do it the old fashioned
way.
Hire an attorney and make application for a mortgage themselves. The
buyer's attorney can point the way.

Why sit on your hands knowing that somebody else isn't going to do a damn
thing. Take things into your own hands.

Are you helpless or something?
