organizing owners

I'm in a large south florida condo with an Association with many
disgruntled owners. Our board regularly using the attorney to justify
unpopular decisions, with questionable rationale. Althought they
haven't done anything terrible (yet), many of us are concerned they
will. They are certainly stretching their authority to a point the
many if not most unit owners are not happy with.

We are considering organizing, much like a union, to show solidarity
as well as to security our own attorney on retainer to make sure that
our rights are protected and that we are not denied access to
information that we're entitled to review under law. Are there any
caveats in doing this that we many not have considered? We feel its
important to be organized in case we need to take actions such as
removal of board members.

Thanks,

Barney

Try to get voting majority 51%
Pick among yourself new board.
Request special election and remove board and install new one.
How big is the association?
How many disgruntled owners there is?
How many ass kissers there is?
How many don't care owners there is?

We're not at the point of wanting to remove them yet. We just want to
be organized to have more influence at the moment. The point is to
modify the current board's behavior so we don't have to remove them,
but instead to get them to do things the way we want them done.
