Their web site is not standards compliant. They don't even have a doc
type for validation and they advertise web design. If they want to
advertise theselves via a web site, I couldn't think of a worse way to
do it than by writing bad mark up.

Equivalent: the shop that offered word-processing services including
proof-
proof-reading.

On top of that, they lose a lot of clients (I'll bet) by being too showy,
example, I don't have shockwave (Just don't like it) and their site didn't
even load for me.
What if I had been a prospect?

I keep my site very basic ( http://www.thestewartgrouponline.com ) so anyone
can view it. Unless they are still using a text based browser...wow.
I don't claim to be a graphics company, the site (which is still in the
works) is done by me and basically will act as a brochure.
